Executive Director for SWIDA Ghana, Hajia Alima Sagito-Saeed delivered a presentation at the Climate Change Conference, which was under the theme “Towards Gender-Sensitive Climate Adaptation for a Just Transition in Northern Ghana.”
With this year’s focus on Northern Ghana, the conference, organized by FES and YARO, brought together over 50 participants from Northern Ghana to Tamale from the 19th–22nd May, 2026.
Hajia Alima’s presentation centered on “Just Transition: The Feminist Perspective.”
Other discussions held at the conference are inclusive climate adaptation, women’s leadership, and gender-responsive solutions for sustainable development and climate justice in Northern Ghana.
