SWIDA has received about 2,000 seedlings to support vegetation across its four agroforestry farms in three districts.
The seedlings will help restore degraded land by improving tree cover, soil fertility, moisture retention, and erosion control.
They will also support climate resilience, biodiversity, and sustainable livelihoods, especially for women through access to fuelwood, fruits, fodder, and income opportunities.
